If your loved one has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and/or less than six months to live if the disease follows its usual course, he or she is likely a candidate for hospice care. All that’s needed is documentation from a physician, indicating the patient’s condition is unlikely to be cured.

We know that hospice can be an unpleasant topic and even have a stigma attached to it, but we encourage people to look into it as soon as possible. During the later stages of illness, we believe a person should be able to spend his or her time and energy on the things that matter most to that individual, and not revolve around the illness. In other words, we want to help you to maintain the best quality of life possible.

If your loved one is spending more and more time at the hospital, at the emergency room or as overnight stays, it may be time to consider hospice care. We’re happy to provide a free consultation, where we can answer your questions about hospice care, help you to determine eligibility, and discuss how to obtain coverage through medicare.
